Our iWellness Package
We offer the iWellness Package as an additional screening measure during eye exams. The package includes both optos retinal imaging and the iVue OCT scan, which take in-depth pictures and scans of important eye structures. You can add the iWellness Package to your eye exam for just $49.
The scans included in the iWellness Package allow us to check for small changes in your eye structure that might indicate eye disease. Through high-resolution images, cross-sections of the retina, and scans of front eye structures (cornea, lens, and iris), we can get a clear picture of your overall eye health without dilation.
Note: In some cases, dilation may be deemed necessary. Your optometrist will provide guidance should you need dilation.
Dark Adaptation Testing for AMD
Age-related macular degeneration is a condition that affects central vision. We use a dark adaptometer to measure how quickly your eyes adapt to darkness, a key metric indicating AMD. This test allows us to check for AMD at its earliest stage, often before any noticeable symptoms or vision loss.
We offer a free AMD screening for all our patients 50+ as part of their eye exam. If you are diagnosed with AMD, we’ll do more extensive testing as well.
RETeval Tests for Eye Function
We use the RETeval device to check your eye function. The device measures the time it takes for light to be processed by the retina and transmitted to the brain through the optic nerve. This checks that your eyes are functioning at a normal speed and strength.
The RETeval device helps us detect retina and optic nerve diseases, including glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. It also provides a baseline for tracking the progression of these eye diseases and determining if treatments are effective.
Dry Eye Treatment Technology
Dry eye disease is a condition that causes uncomfortable symptoms, including gritty, red, and irritated eyes. We can help relieve your symptoms through our full-service dry eye clinic. From your diagnosis and determining the cause to finding treatments that work, we can help soothe your symptoms.
We use innovative dry eye technology to diagnose and treat different types of dry eye disease. During diagnosis, we will determine the cause using devices such as LipiScan, which assesses the health of your meibomian glands, an essential structure for healthy tear production.
Once we’ve determined the cause of your dry eye, we’ll discuss treatment options based on your needs and preferences. We may recommend OptiLIFT eyelid rejuvenation, intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy, ThermiEyes radiofrequency, or LipiFlow Thermal Pulsation, among other options.
