Dr. Peyton Turner is an optometrist who graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma in 2019. She went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from the NSU Oklahoma College of Optometry in 2023. During her clinical training, Dr. Turner completed an externship with Oklahoma Medical Eye Group, a blended ophthalmology and optometry practice, where she gained valuable experience in a variety of areas of eye care.
Dr. Turner enjoys caring for patients of all ages and has a particular interest in glaucoma management and specialty contact lenses. She is passionate about helping patients understand their eye health and believes that providing patients with the right information empowers them to make informed decisions about their care. She especially enjoys seeing the impact that quality eye care can have on a patient’s life—from helping a child experience the world more clearly with their first pair of glasses to helping someone with double vision see comfortably and clearly again.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Turner loves spending time with her husband, Chris, reading fiction, traveling and discovering new places, and hosting game nights with family and friends. She also enjoys DIY arts and crafts and has a passion for trying out new hobbies.
